Small-Scale Dairying for Raw Non-Bovine Milk Production

This is a two day course on setting up a small-scale dairy for raw goat (or non-bovine) milk production. Situated on the Essex/Suffolk Border the Fulibroch Dairy is a registered UK milk production holding producing hand milked raw goat milk for farmgate and retail sale from a small pedigree herd of British Toggenburgs.

Tereza Fairbairn started the Fulibroch herd in 2012 with a couple of goats which were given to her as a gift. The dairy has now been trading since 2014 and holds a 5-star hygiene rating and UK producer number. Tereza has nearly 20 years’ experience in business and project management particularly in compliance and regulatory and now runs Fulibroch Consulting Ltd.

The course offers an opportunity for those interested in small-scale dairying to experience raw milk production for onward sale and see how current legislation and regulation can be applied in the small-scale setting.
